Stacie Marie Downing was born on January 5, 1986 in Aurora, IL by her Mother, Melanie Downing, and Father, Daniel Downing. Stacie is a graduate from Westwood College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration: Sales and Marketing. After graduation she began her career search and finally landed a job with Nalco Company where she has been working since 2008.
About the groom
Joseph Dale Elsworth was born on May 7, 1985 in St. Charles, IL by his Mother Pam (Elsworth) Johnson, and Father, Laroy Elsworth. Joe graduated from Oswego High School in 2004. He started a career in heating and cooling with Greiters, and in 2008 Joe decided to join the Army. In 2009 Joe was deployed to Iraq, returning ten months later, he was stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington until March 2012 when he was deployed to Afghanistan. He is now back in the states and has returned home for good!
How we met
Stacie and Joey have known each other since the early school years, but they reconnected after high school at a mutual friend's birthday party.
